Flare magazine's 25th anniversary bash brought out Toronto trendsetters for an evening of style and decadence, as well as a tribute to Canadian beauty via black-and-white photographs by Canadian music icon-turned-photographer Bryan Adams.
Flare enlisted McNabb Roick Events to design the affair, which also featured catering by Gibson and Lyle. A striking backdrop of stark white furniture and freestanding walls allowed heavy illumination and splashes of pretty pink to leave a lasting impression of style and beauty -which is what Flare is known for. The evening's focus was Adams's photographs, which paid homage to Canadian beauty with subjects including Canadian actresses, Olympians, and icons including Governor General Adrienne Clarkson and Olympic diving champion Emilie Heymans. Rentals for the event were provided by Signature Rentals and Chair-man Mills.
