The Palais des Congrès de Montréal recently introduced its CITE Event Innovation and Technology Centre. In conjunction with Palais’s official providers, the initiative allows event organizers to work with local startups and creative entrepreneurs who offer services ranging from technology and food to event logistics. Marcus at the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal recently started serving afternoon tea ($34), daily from 2 to 5 p.m. Guests can enjoy chef Marcus Samuelsson’s modern re-interpretation of the tradition with towers of sweet treats and savory bites, all served with a selection of black, white, green, and oolong organic teas by Vancouver-based Tealeaves. Upgrade the experience with tins of Northern Divine Canadian caviar, house-made potato blinis, and champagne by the glass.

In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Montreal-based production company Monlove is producing the upcoming Scooby-Doo! and The Lost City of Gold. The live touring show kicks off in March in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and tells the story of Scooby-Doo and his mystery-solving friends as they head out on an adventure, complete with original music, puppetry, interactive video, aerial arts, acrobatics, and video mapping. The tour runs through June 28, 2020.
