Deal Or No Deal's Howie Mandel Headlines Hometown JFL Gala

The 2007 Toronto Just For Laughs festival kicked off in high style July 26 with a highly anticipated opening night gala hosted by native son Howie Mandel. At a press conference the following day at the Four Seasons Hotel, a misty-eyed Mandel reminisced on his comedic origins doing stand-up in downtown Toronto comedy clubs. The inaugural Toronto JFL fest featured two laugh-packed days of comedy shows and street performances bracketed by a trio of glitzy evening indoor galas.
