Exhibition Place, HK Hotels in Talks for New Hotel

The Board of Governors of Exhibition Place has approved entering into exclusive negotiations with New York City-based HK Hotels for the development, construction, and management of a new convention hotel. The announcement follows the hotel developer’s successful response to the board’s request for proposals. HK Hotel’s proposal recommends development of a minimum 300-room resort-style hotel with tennis courts, a pool, a health club, underground parking, and green space on a site directly south of the Direct Energy Centre.
