The launch of the Stila Beauty Lounge, a white-draped room inside the 41,000-square-foot Muzik nightclub, attracted a long line of women on Saturday. Stila Cosmetics vice president of sales and artistry Desiree Tordecilla paired up with Muzik president Zlatko Starkovski to open the lounge, an expansion of the club's preexisting beauty bar. The lounge is open every Saturday night and is also available for private events.

The sectioned-off space—complete with sleek black couches, disco balls, chandeliers, and lit-up mirrors—felt like the backstage of a fashion show, with stylists positioned at hair and makeup stations around the room. Tordecilla, who flew in from Los Angeles for the event, brought along Stila makeup artists. When she first saw the Muzik beauty bar, she knew it would make for a great partnership. "The place had the feel of New York Fashion Week," she said. "It was a no-brainer."Large white banners with drawings of Stila girls—as seen in the company's advertising and marketing campaigns—hung from the ceiling; the drawings were created exclusively for Muzik. Male models handed out flutes of pink champagne garnished with strawberries, while caterwaiters served finger foods and desserts, including white- and dark-chocolate cheesecake lollipops. As the evening progressed, the lights dimmed, and the glammed-up girls were ready to hit the club.
