Owned by Nadia Kakridonis, Twist Gallery is a new art gallery and event space located in the former home of Spin Gallery on Queen Street West. The 5,000-square-foot venue features white walls, multiple skylights, French arch windows, and long wooden beams accentuating the high wooden ceilings.
"I saw the space and it was beautiful," said Kakridonis, who plans to market the venue as an art gallery by day and an event space by night. The second-floor space has an open-concept layout with a small seating area at the front, including bar stools at the window ledges.
The venue, which holds about 350, is available for private events and is equipped with a prep room for catering. Kakridonis plans to open a café within the gallery this summer.
