If the fashions of Miss Sixty are bold and sassy, then singer Kelis was the right entertainment choice for the after-party at Capitale following the label’s first-ever runway show (also at Capitale). After a set from DJ Beverly Bond, the Miss Sixty-clad singer performed a short, high-energy set—that included her barely euphemistic “Milkshake” and her nervy new single “Bossy”—on a stage that had previously been the launch point for the fashion show’s runway (staff had detached the runway in the two hours since the show, while many guests hit other pre-Fashion Week events going on around town). Bartenders poured strong cocktails from ubiquitous-these-days sponsor Imperia Vodka at a bar ornamented with simple bunches of red roses and bottles stacked on white shelving, a modern contrast with the baroque look of the former bank space. Sixty USA PR and special events manager Kevin Fegans oversaw the event.
