Richmond’s tantalizingly high concentration of Asian restaurants can be intimidating, especially for visitors. Enter Tourism Richmond’s Dumpling Trail, which guides diners through this densely packed neighborhood with recommendations for some of the best xiao long bao (soup dumplings), har gow (shrimp dumplings), and bánh mì très bon (shrimp and pork belly dumplings). Recently revamped to include new restaurants and new dumplings, the Dumpling Trail lets diners choose their own adventure offering a range of price points and specialities.

Kitsilano café Their There recently opened a night time-only counterpart, Hundy. You can still get an avocado croissant and Portland-based Heart Roasters coffee by day, but at 5 p.m. a sliding wall reveals Vancouver's newest burger joint. Four booths are nestled in this hidden space that's about one-third the size of the café, and it is dedicated to serving an updated burger concept. It's open Thursday to Saturday, first come, first served.
