From September until the end of the year, Convention Planning Services Inc. is donating 5 percent of its revenues to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund from services provided to groups relocating their meetings from New Orleans to Orlando.
Ticket sales from the fifth annual Amor A La MĂşsica concert, one of the biggest Latin music events in South Florida, produced by WAMR Amor 107.5and Univision Radio, will be donated to the Red Cross.
After a weeklong collection drive, Orlando-based Absolute Amusements filled two 18-wheel flatbeds and two 26-foot trucks with water, nonperishable foods, and essential supplies for the victims of Katrina. The trucks delivered their loads in the Gulf Coast on Sept 10th and Sept. 11th.
