Green Festival Returns to Navy Pier

This weekend, the Chicago Green Festival will overtake Navy Pier for the second year running. According to The Chicago Tribune, the two-day event will allow more than 350 local businesses (both local and national) to showcase green and sustainable products.

Other features of the festival are slated to include a "kids' zone," workshops, films, and presentations covering topics like genetically engineered foods and mushrooms' role in saving the environment. Organizers are encouraging guests to take eco-friendly transportation to the event by providing a free bike-valet service.
