Eve, a restaurant from the owner and executive chef of Tallulah, opened in the Gold Coast for lunch on Monday. "I think of Eve as the Midtown girl, while Tallulah's the [more relaxed] Hamptons girl," said general manager Brian Martin. Indeed, the new restaurant's gold foil accents, Lucite-encased chandeliers, and glowing alabaster bar create a decidedly upscale atmosphere.

Available for full buyouts, Eve can seat 100 guests or accommodate approximately 120 for cocktails. To the right of the 40-seat main dining room, a semiprivate space (which owners refer to as "the north wing") seats 30 and can be enclosed with ultrasuede drapes. A short hallway in back of the main dining room leads to the V.I.P. party room, which seats 18 and offers its own private entrance. A flat-screen TV built into the party room's back wall connects to DVD players or laptops; drapes along the wall can also conceal the screen when it's not in use.

Dinner service will begin on November 5, with menu options slated to include rack of lamb with ricotta dumplings, truffled celery root ravioli, and pan-seared scallops with roasted-pear risotto.
