1. CEE LO'S FLOATING PIANO: Hollywood Reporter: "One of the standout moments of Sunday's Billboard Music Awards had to be Cee Lo Green's flying piano during a medley of his hits. The bedazzled baby grand was lifted from the stage and flown more than 12 feet in the air, pivoting into a 360-degree turn that had the soul singer singing upside down."

2. MUSEUMS LIKE EVENT MONEY: "In a cash-strapped era, renting out spaces for weddings, anniversaries, company parties and other private functions is an increasingly important revenue source for museums," reports The Chicago Tribune, looking at parties and prices for the likes of the Field Museum and the Lincoln Park Zoo.

5. AMFAR'S BIG PULL: Thursday was Amfar's Cinema Against AIDS gala at the Cannes film festival. WWD: "Hosted by Bold Films, Chopard and The Weinstein Company and co-sponsored by Hewlett-Packard Company, L’Oreal Paris and Palisades Tartan, the event set a new record by raising more than $10 million for AIDS research…The night’s musical entertainment came from Milla Jovovich, Bebel Gilberto, Courtney Love and Boy George, who seemed less than thrilled with the audience response."
