TITLE: President of Cece Feinberg Public Relations, Miami

IN THE BEGINNING: Feinberg, 32, began her career in the marketing and public relations department at Vogue in New York. She worked on fashion shows and client events for Betsey Johnson, Bisou Bisou, and Hush Puppies. In 1998, she moved to Miami and worked as the director of fashion accounts for a small PR firm and started her own company in 2002, working with clients like Gen Art, A Nose For Clothes, Chroma, and Project LX.

KNOWN FOR: Being the niche fashion public relations agency in Miami. "We work with Miami's best fashion and jewelry designers and retailers," Feinberg says. The agency also works with national and international media outlets, placing clients in Swedish Elle and German Vogue.

MOST SIGNIFICANT EVENT SO FAR: For Red Carter's fashion show and after-party during the IMG Miami Swim Shows in July, the agency packed the show with four times the RSVPs the show could actually seat. After establishing a standing-room-only section, the firm was able to accommodate every guest. Editors from Glamour, Elle, and Cosmopolitan attended, and the after-party at the Shore Club was packed with locals and celebrities.

WHAT TO WATCH: Feinberg plans to open a branch in Los Angeles by the end of 2006.

HOT TREND: "Clients want a more exclusive event to launch their product or promote their image," says Feinberg. The over-the-top, overcrowded bash is being replaced by more subdued, smaller affairs for 50 to 100 people.
