With a mystery-building game plan intact—the public relations crew is keeping all the details on the hush-hush for another few days—New York chef Daniel Boulud has signed on to open a second South Florida restaurant in a partnership group that includes the Miami Heat's Shaquille O'Neal. His projects currently under way include Beijing's Maison Boulud (set to open in January), New York City's Bar Boulud, and now, this as-yet-unnamed restaurant in downtown Miami that will join the six-acre, $1 billion Met Miami complex, which will include businesses, lodging, and condos. The culinary icon also runs the Daniel Boulud Brasserie in Las Vegas' Wynn Hotel and, since 2003, Palm Beach's Café Boulud.
