A club within a club, The Mermaid Bar in the Jungle Room at Mango's Tropical Cafe can accommodate exclusive events for 20 to 150 with security, right next to the main dance floor and stage. Owner David Wallack, the man who also runs Power Studios, hired Mango's resident muralist Renold Marcelin to paint the venue. The bar itself now features an underwater, semitropical image—which includes several images of brightly colored fish, green underwater shrubbery spawning colorful flowers, and mermaids playing musical instruments—as well as wicker bar stools and hanging lights. Suitable for corporate events or small dinner functions, the bar features semiprivate rooms, velvet booths, a closed-circuit video system, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, four flat-screens, and close proximity to Mango's giant video screen.
