Govind Armstrong, creator and executive chef of Miami and Los Angeles' Table 8 restaurant, celebrated the release of his first cookbook entitled Small Bites, Big Nights on August 28. Nearly 150 foodies, socialites, and media personnel gathered on the upper pool deck of the Crown, Miami Beach's only luxury oceanfront rental property, to praise the talented chef by indulging in Armstrong's own cuisine. Delicacies included his short rib grilled cheese and sliced marinated cucumber topped with avocado and rock shrimp.
"I like my dishes simple and straightforward, but really packing a punch," stated the celebrity chef. Throughout the night, he signed books and mingled with guests, who were also treated to Mojitos, compliments of new super-premium Oronoco Brazilian White Rum.
