Chad Kaydo, the editor in chief of BizBash, and Howard Givner, the executive director of the Event Leadership Institute, announced today the launch of the Event Innovation Forum—South Florida at the BizBash IdeaFest on April 10 at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center.
After a sold-out launch of the Event Innovation Forum in New York last October, the South Florida program will include a curated series of presentations from a broad range of industry leaders.
"We're really excited to share success stories from cutting-edge event marketers, who can share some big ideas as well as behind-the-scenes information about how they’ve pulled off very successful, innovative projects," Kaydo said.
"Our goal is to create a TED-style forum, where thought leaders and influencers can stimulate planners with new ideas and innovative approaches to producing events," Givner said. “The Event Innovation Forum—South Florida will feature 10 dynamic and insightful presentations by creative thinkers and industry leaders, designed to help planners take a more strategic view of their events.” Participants will be announced in the coming weeks.
“There will be great takeaways for marketers and producers who do all kinds of events, meetings, fund-raisers, conferences, and trade shows,” Kaydo said.
Registration for the conference will open later this week; tickets for the conference are $175, which includes a networking lunch and access to the BizBash IdeaFest trade show floor and Readers’ Choice Awards.
