The second phase of the Hennessy Artistry Concert Tour continued on September 26 at Mansion on Miami Beach. V.I.P.s were invited to join representatives from Hennessy to celebrate the liquor distributor's relationships with emerging artists.
"The first phase of the tour was well received by tastemakers and music enthusiasts alike," said Israel Cancél, communications director for Hennessy. "Now our audience knows that the Hennessy Artistry Concert Tour offers guests an intimate experience where they will enjoy the mixing of exquisite cocktails and great music performances."Organized by the Strategic Group, a New York-based marketing and public relations firm, this leg of the tour featured a performance from bilingual Latin trio the Dey, a nod to multicultural Miami. In addition, New York's DJ Mauricio was on hand to offer his musical talents and keep the crowd dancing all night long.
The theme of Hennessy's new advertising campaign, "Flaunt Your Taste," was present throughout the decor and lighting. Glass-encased bottles of Hennessy were on display throughout the club atop tall stands wrapped in posters from the company's campaign. When it came to lighting, Hennessy toned down the usual pulsing atmosphere of Mansion, instead opting for golds, oranges, and reds, reminiscent of the spirit's bottle. Additionally, the brand's logo was projected high onto the walls in Hennessy's signature deep orange.
Throughout the night, bartenders poured a menu of Hennessy cocktails with a global aspect. Drinks such as the Shanghai, served with a bit of ginger, the Paris, the New York, and the Miami—Hennessy's version of a mojito—blended the liquor's smoothness with the flavors of each city.
Hors d'oeuvres including conch fritters, mini quiches, beef empanadas, and chicken skewers were served by caterwaiters throughout the club, courtesy of Eggwhites Special Event Catering.
