Following a sneak peak last month during Art Basel Miami Beach, Cafeina will officially open to the public on January 14. In the Wynwood arts district, Cafeina is comprised of a lounge, art gallery, and outdoor garden.
The 1,560-square-foot indoor lounge has an eight-seat bar, while an additional 65 can sit among earth-toned leather loungers and chairs. A staircase in the back of the room leads to a mezzanine that seats 35. If cleared, the lounge can accommodate as many as 100.
The 1,000-square-foot art gallery adjacent to the lounge showcases local artists' works and can be used in conjunction with the lounge for events for as many as 200 people. The 5,000-square-foot garden holds 200 and can be tented.
Cafeina chef Guily Booth offers a tapas menu that includes miniature kobe burgers, tuna tacos, and shrimp lollipops. Outside caterers are also welcome.
