Near Miami's design district in Lemon City, Fusse' Studios debuted in late April as a site for private parties, live music, gallery exhibitions, product presentations, video shoots, and corporate meetings. The 2,000-square-foot event space, a former warehouse, was originally meant to be renovated into a photography studio, but was instead reconstructed into a venue for entertaining.
The studio, comprised of three connected spaces, holds 200 for cocktail receptions, 40 for seated dinners, and 60 for seated meetings. An elevated LED-lit DJ booth overlooks the entry lounge and a gallerylike area. The two rooms can be used as prefunction or meeting spaces. The third room has a rounded cyclorama wall for staging and photography purposes, and is fully equipped with sound gear and technology for presentations.
The all-white studio incorporates technology throughout, with LED step lighting and versatile wire track gallery lighting, a Panasonic projector, a Bose sound system that is iPod-, computer-, and DJ-ready, and two LCD HD TVs, one with cable, a DVD, and a Sony PlayStation 3.
