The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, which has been named as one of the most anticipated hotel openings of this year, debuted in January. The 243-room property, designed by Yabu Pushelberg with architecture by Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership, has several pools, private beach access, 24-hour concierge, and St. Regis Butler service. Most recently, the resort unveiled its event spaces for cocktail receptions, banquets, and meetings.
The resort has multiple floors of space, beginning with the first. As a prefunction space, the 2,529-square-foot Astor area can hold 70 guests banquet-style. There are also five ballrooms, which when rooms one through four are combined, can offer a total of 4,077 square feet with a capacity of 400 as a theater setup, 252 for a classroom, 200 for a banquet, 48 for a conference layout, and 69 in a U-shaped format.
For smaller meetings, the third floor has four options: the 402-square-foot John Jacob Astor boardroom and almost-400-square-foot Rockefeller, which seat 16 each; and the 245-square-foot Morgan and 242-square-foot Vanderbilt, which both hold 12.
There are also several options for outdoor events. The 9,098-square-foot Ocean Terrace can hold 240 guests for a banquet; the Ocean Palm Court can hold half that size at 120. The main resort pool at 9,617 square feet can hold 330 for a banquet, but for larger groups, the Ocean Pool South area accommodates 400.
The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort boasts various dining options, including J&G Grill, a restaurant from chef Jean-George Vongerichten. The eatery's terrace can hold 220 for a banquet. Groups can also take advantage of the 14,000-square-foot Remede Spa with group package options as well as nine private cabanas with wet bars, full bath and showers, daybeds, flat-screen TVs, and butler service for summer entertaining.
