SoHo's westen edge is shaping up to be the new restaurant hotspot of the year (Groovejet and Fiamma have already staked it out). And Jonathan Morr, creator of hip eateries Republic, APT and Bond St., has chosen the locale for his latest, Theo, a minimalist, two-story restaurant and lounge. The look: Crisp white tablecloths atop dark brown wood tables downstairs, and a modern lounge upstairs with low pink and gray sofas and floor mirrors. Morr wants it to be a neighborhood destination offering gourmet takes on homey standards like duck breast with truffled mashed potatoes and osso buco with mushroom risotto. The restaurant can hold 75 for dinner or 200 for cocktails, and the lounge can hold 100. --Suzanne Ito
