VENUE: New Westin Takes Times Square

The Westin New York—Times Square has opened with tons of press and fanfare—and some mixed architectural reviews—but did anyone tell you about the meeting space? The hotel will put the finishing touches on 34,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space by mid-November, including three ballrooms and 32 meeting and breakout rooms that will range in size from 220 to 3,500 square feet. The hotel offers 863 guest rooms, and will open its in-house restaurant, Shula's Steak House, in November as well. —Suzanne Ito
