A Clubber's Delight

Eddie Dean’s 30,000-square-foot event space and nightclub made waves in the clubbing community when Dean announced that it was to be named Pacha—after the popular Ibiza venue—with 15 franchises worldwide. The New York outlet debuted in December, with three levels above a subterranean space that houses the coat check, retail store, and bathrooms. The central space, which includes the dance floor, has large columns, moving projections, and a mezzanine level balcony overlooking the scene; a second level is divided into four differently decorated areas; and the third level space can be used for private parties. Pacha has full audiovisual capabilities and for receptions holds 1,200 in the main space, 550 on the second level, and 400 on the third level. —Anna Sekula
