Formerly the Rihga Royal, LXR Luxury Resorts’ Midtown property the London NYC (which officially opened in November) will unveil three meeting spaces on the mezzanine level, the largest of which is the 966-square-foot winter garden, in February. Responsible for the hotel’s fresh new look is Irish interior designer David Collins (noted for his work on Nobu Berkeley, in London), who has renewed the lobby with green leather details and an intricate patterned floor and the rooms with soft colors and handsome furnishings. Other offerings include an in-house restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay (his first in the U.S., which opened in November), a 24-hour fitness center (expected to open in the spring of 2007), and concierge service from Quintessentially. —Anna Sekula
