Studio 64, the meatpacking district space owned by Taiwanese fashion photographer Dah-Len, has recently opened its doors for events. The bilevel space has two distinct areas, a 2,500-square-foot street-level studio and a 700-square-foot lounge downstairs (pictured). The ground-level space has a skylight and 17-foot-high ceilings as well as a separate space suitable for food prep or coat check. The subterranean room features Dah-Len’s collection of antique Buddhist shrines and has low ceilings and an exposed rock wall. An open kitchen and bathroom facilities are also on-site. Studio 64 is best suited for private parties of 150 and has been used for art showcases and small runway shows. An additional space two doors down (at 60 Gansevoort) is also available. —Anna Sekula
