Opening today is Twelve21, an 8,000-square-foot event space in the Flatiron district. The venue has 4,000 square feet of space at ground level, below which are a full prep kitchen, a greenroom, and storage and coat-check areas. Twelve21 offers a full range of equipment and amenities, including a stage, sound and lighting equipment, rigging outlets in the ceiling, a mobile DJ booth, four plasma-screen TVs, and a projection setup with a 106- by 188-inch screen. Another perk: The lower level has three entrances as well as freight-elevator access.
