The New Museum of Contemporary Art celebrates its 30th anniversary by unveiling its long-awaited new home tomorrow. The towering seven-story, 60,000-square-foot structure, which resembles a stack of off-kilter boxes, is the work of Tokyo-based architects Sejima + Nishizawa/SANAA. The inaugural exhibit is “Unmonumental: The Object in the 21st Century," which explores sculptural assemblages made from found or discarded materials.
