If you're still looking for a place to take a holiday party with a teambuilding bent to it, consider looking into Grand Prix New York, the Westchester racing and conference facility scheduled for a December 1 opening. While the second and third weeks of December are almost fully booked, the venue still has some openings for smaller groups and events.
When it opens, the 120,000-square-foot indoor site will offer two kart-racing tracks—each a quarter-mile long and 24 feet wide—as well as nine conference rooms and a banquet hall. (An on-site restaurant and bar/lounge are currently in the works.) The venue will also have driving training programs and catering provided by Chef & Company.
