A modern take on a traditional concept, Primehouse New York is the steak house from Steve Hanson's B.R. Guest Restaurants, which replaced Park Avenue Country Club earlier this month. The 5,600-square-foot interior features a polished look with antique mirrors, a patterned tile floor, and a contrasting color palette of dark brown, black, and cream-colored stone. On the menu is beef, aged in-house in a custom dry-aging room with Himalayan rock-salt tiles, as well as other meat and seafood dishes. Sup in the main space, or opt for two private rooms (which can been combined to form one large room) that seat 30 each and are decorated with geometric mirrors and dual-sided displays of wine.
