San Francisco-based BloomThat, which delivers hand-crafted bouquets and other curated goods, is now offering on-demand service in New York. Products include the Penny bouquet, peonies with spray roses and pink peppercorn, $58; the signature Perri with orange tulips, $48; and the Winston, a small succulent, $30. In December, BloomThat will debut a new crop of items, including seasonal offerings, as well as larger, more premium arrangements like the Rory with Antike garden roses, Juliet garden roses, and calla lilies in a white ceramic vessel. Currently, same-day delivery is available throughout Manhattan (below 125th Street) and certain parts of Brooklyn. Next-day delivery is available for the rest of New York City and the majority of the East Coast.

The SD Reserve Collection from Paterson, New Jersey-based Something Different Party Rental features exotic pieces from around the world, including a range of glass bowls in blue (7- and 9-inch sizes), and gold, copper, and smoked (all available in 8.5-, 12.5-, 13.75, and 17.75-inch sizes). Opened in August, Inday is a healthy Indian-inspired fast-casual restaurant in the NoMad neighborhood of the city that offers event catering for in-office lunches. The seasonal menu features flavorful bowls with a choice of shredded vegetables, grain, rice, or salad, plus a protein (chicken, steak, salmon, turkey, or smoked tofu) and garnishes (hot sauce, yogurt, pickled raisins, micro greens, and lentil crisp). Each catering portion serves eight to 10 people. A $15 delivery charge applies; free in-store pickup is also available.

Stamford, Connecticut-based Marcia Selden Catering & Event Planning's edible art installation is a conversation starter for holiday parties, corporate events, and other gatherings. The interactive food and beverage station includes behind-the-scenes staff, who wear long white gloves and hand out menu items, like the "Apple-y Ever After” cocktail at the Knot gala (pictured), through discreet holes in a hanging curtain. More than 70 hand-crafted costumes and dozens of artifacts (including Jedi master Yoda) from the blockbuster Star Wars films are on view at the Discovery Times Square as part of the Smithsonian traveling exhibition—"Star Wars and the Power of Costume: The Exhibition." Visitors can catch a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, plus they can "try on" the costumes thanks to a unique virtual experience provided by Platige Image. Culled from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, the iconic wardrobe items are on display through September 5, 2016. Advanced ticket prices start at $20. Special savings for groups of 10 or more are available with advanced reservation.

Baked by Melissa recently launched a line of eight gluten-free flavors, including Tie Dye, Red Velvet, Triple Chocolate Crunch, and Peanut Butter Cup. The highly requested treats satisfy an extra-special need for founder Melissa Ben-Ishay, who developed a sensitivity to gluten during her pregnancy. The bite-size cupcakes are sold online for nationwide shipment and at the company's new gluten-free store in Midtown. Packs of 25 are available for $20, with gift box options ranging in price from $25 to $90.
