On April 5, 2016, Resorts World Casino New York City partnered with BizBash to host 165 event and trade show planners in the Casino’s Central Park event space. Guests were picked up from two locations in Manhattan via the Resorts World Casino Red Express luxury coach buses. In less than 45 minutes they arrived at the grand porte cochere. The event included lunch from local caterers, displays from event vendors, and a performance by singer George Lamond.
The Central Park event space is located on the third level of Resorts World Casino NYC. It is a distinct venue with more than 70,000 square feet of floor space. The venue can accommodate as many as 3,500 people for concerts, 6,000 for tradeshows, and 2,500 for a seated theater-style event. It is fully equipped with audiovisual production capabilities and all required staff positions, including a dedicated event coordinator. There are several private rooms and custom designed breakout areas along with an outdoor terrace overlooking Aqueduct Racetrack. Easy access to the indoor garage and at-floor level parking makes this venue perfect for specialized pop-up events, private socials, and business meetings. The Central Park event space has one of the world’s largest disco balls, which is sure to dazzle vendors and guests. The disco ball comes with a movable dance floor and stages. To date, the venue has hosted movie and television productions, large-scale industry tradeshows, and corporate meetings.
