The Virginia Wine and Gourmet Showcase, this Saturday and Sunday at the Dulles Expo & Conference Center, features 40 wineries and tastings of more than 300 wines from across the Old Dominion. The event offers an opportunity to talk to winemakers about dinners and accommodations at vineyards, regional limo tours, and organized on-site tastings for groups. Sponsored by the Farm Wineries Council of Virginia and The Washington Post, the event features seminars on tasting and food pairing by noted winemakers, chefs, sommeliers, and chocolatiers. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
