Jaime Geffen is the executive director for events and talent relations for Sony Pictures Television. She oversees all events related to the division including wrap and holiday parties, as well as launch parties for TV shows. She also oversees corporate events such as retreats, conventions, and meetings, and handles gift needs for TV shows, talent, and award shows. Some of her trusted vendors are:
Production: “15/40 Productions. I use them for our larger events, like wrapping or launching a big show or a celebratory show like a 100th episode type of thing. I bring them in to do decor, and they’re amazing. They are really innovative—we'll talk through a concept or I will show them one of our programs, and they will come back with all these great ideas for decor and theme and bring it to life."
Gifts: “I use Leave an Impression. Jennifer Wolf does custom gifts for special occasions for any of our talent on our TV shows. We’ll call her, tell her a little bit about the show and the theme, and she always comes up with really specific gifts no one else has really ever shown us. She’s smart and always knows what’s new and hot.”Catering: “We use [contract caterer] Wolfgang Puck at the Sony Lot. [When not at Sony] we tend to go to a lot of venues that have Wolfgang Puck. They’re just so great, and they always [ensure] a successful event.”
Venue: “[Away from Sony Lot] we do a lot at Hollywood & Highland. We also have a tendency to follow [nightclub owner] David Judaken around—like to the Garden of Eden, Mood, Crimson."
