Love Rocks—Take It From New York City's Sweetest Valentine's Day Soiree

The LOVE Party’s dessert bar was sweet, but we think event profs will find the attention to detail at this rock ’n’ roll-themed affair even sweeter.

Of course, the centerpiece of the LOVE Party was a dance floor that boasted the event’s paint-splattered and lipstick-kissed branding. Amid dancing the night away, eventgoers could quench their thirst at one of multiple bars, where liquor bottles shared shelf space with the amount of red roses lovers dream about receiving on Valentine’s Day.Of course, the centerpiece of the LOVE Party was a dance floor that boasted the event’s paint-splattered and lipstick-kissed branding. For this Valentine’s Day occasion, the duo ditched ooey gooey love-bombing signage and fuzzy teddy bears for a rock ’n’ roll-themed affair that leaned into grunge, glam, and thorned roses.

Fittingly dubbed “a party fit for a rock star,” the 2024 LOVE Party was a case study in attention to detail. After all, it caters to the hottest names in meetings and events, who fly in from across the country to attend the invite-only affair, which the co-hosts put on to shower their favorite partners with love.

The photos speak for themselves, so keep scrolling for an inside look at the love-filled celebration, with details only found on BizBash, plus a roster of the vendors who made it all happen…

Ron Ben-Israel showed off his creations at the dessert table, of course, where bite-size treats created by the famed baker flanked two of his multitiered cakes dripping in gold. The sweet display was offset by a sexy backdrop, where heavily adorned mirrors boasted decals of lips and messages written in lipstick that evoked feelings of being in a rock star’s dressing room.

An over-the-top dessert bar—dubbed the “Pour Some Sugar on Me” corner, a nod to Def Leppard’s iconic song—boasted an array of sinful bites. Each one playfully nodded to the night’s theme, such as the “Love Struck” lightning bolt-shaped cookies and the suggestive “Funk Me Funfetti” cupcakes and chocolate-covered “Orgasm Oreos.”

Valentine’s Day Offerings Perfect for a Night In or Out
'Because of the nature of Vibiana and the way the venue lays out, projection was the way to go,' said Rembac. 'We felt it would yield a much bigger impact than a ceiling install or anything too complicated on the tables.' Sterling Engagements worked closely with the venue's in-house AV team to produce 'scenes' that would subtly shift throughout the night: For arrivals, it depicted a snowlike journey to the destination; for the program, it was a forest that made guests feel like they were staring out a window at a perfect winter setting; and for the party, the projections morphed into a fun, festive, and celebratory atmosphere. 'We modified the overhead and front perspective within each look, and as the evening progressed, so did our surroundings—which was really fun,' she noted.
