Celebratory Cocktails

Spirits agency and luxury cocktail caterer Cocktail Academy curated two Valentine’s Day-themed drink recipes. The beverages embrace the romanticism of the holiday and are perfect for toasting to lovers or friends. CEO Matt Landes calls this drink—made with tequila, lemon, hibiscus, raspberry syrup, egg white, and dehydrated raspberry dust—Lady in Red.
Recipe:
2 oz tequila
3/4 oz lemon
3/4 oz hibiscus, raspberry ryrup
1 egg white
dehydrated raspberry dust
Directions: Dust your coupe glass with raspberry dust and add all ingredients to a shaker that's filled completely with ice. Shake vigorously, then strain your chilled drink into the raspberry-dusted glass. Garnish with a large ice cube.

Nu York Burlesque will be putting on a provocative Valentine's performance at Hudson Yards' Midnight Theatre on Feb. 11 and 14. Audience members can expect a night of glamorous entertainment from dancers with backgrounds in cabaret, burlesque, ballroom, fetish, ballet, and vaudeville. There will be 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows on both nights.

Looking for a different kind of lounge seating? Consider Taylor Creative's Lounge Modular couch in pink, which is available for rent from its New York and Los Angeles warehouse locations. The couch is adaptable (there are options with eight or 10 pieces), and can make an individual seating cluster or a larger shared seating arrangement. Ottomans and seat-backs can be placed in many different configurations based on your event needs, and pillows in varying pink hues are also on offer to complete the look.
