
On December 8, Salvatore Ferragamo culminated its 100 Year Anniversary tour with a cinematic bash at Industria Superstudio. The thematic journey began in Los Angeles and moved to Shanghai before landing in New York, along the way artfully highlighting the brand's heritage over the course of 100 days.

Produced by Bureau Betak, the event paid homage to Ferragamo's Hollywood heritage and turned Industria Superstudio into Gancio Studios, which was replete with various installations modeled after a film set. More than 200 customized products featured the Ferragamo logo, including scripts, film reels, hat boxes, and beach towels.

As guests explored the kaleidoscopic fantasy world of Gancio Studios that presented movie sets from throughout the years, a baby pink bedroom scene transported guests into a bygone era of Hollywood glamour.

Gancio Studios was inspired by Andy Warhol’s “Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes” quote and how in the digital age smartphones capture everyday life and turn them into cinematic moments that can be shared worldwide.

The brand's debut Signature eyewear and timepiece collections were celebrated at the event. Each piece, adorned with the Gancio buckle motif, served as a nod to Salvatore's hallmark. About 230 pairs of sunglasses and 28 watches, part of the new collection, and 30 other accessories were displayed.

Channeling the world of cinema, Gancio Studios’ multimedia installation juxtaposed sets captured from the black-and-white era with digital Technicolor scenes. Guests became the stars, adopting the role of glamorous screen idol or visionary director, and footage was streamed live to the 100 Years 100 Days microsite with hashtag #GancioStudios.

A customized DJ booth was inspired by the iconic Ferragamo rainbow wedge sandal that resides in the brand's museum in Florence, Italy.
