BuzzFeed's Emmys Party Celebrating "The Buzzies"
BuzzFeed hosted its pre-Emmy party to give out its "Buzzies" entertainment awards on September 14 at Hyde in Los Angeles. Produced by Pen & Public, the event had a BuzzFeed-theme three-dimensional step-and-repeat wall that popped in black, yellow, and red.

Blaffer Art Museum's Odyssey Gala
For a space-theme gala idea, creative studio Matter used NASA space blankets to design a gilded meteor shower ceiling installation for Blaffer Art Museum's annual gala in Houston on April 1. The idea was inspired by the event's space theme, as well as the metallic trends seen on recent fashion runways. The creative team also created custom floral centerpieces, using the blankets and dianthus plants, that floated above circular mirrors for an anti-gravity effect.

Contained under the shade sail structure was the Pandora swag redemption station, which featured a live-screen printing station providing custom tote bags to guests. Pandora provided game cards to each guest upon arrival. Guests could take the cards to each activation, and get a stamp on their cards after engaging with each sponsor. Once all of the activations were complete, they could redeem the card for a tote, exclusive to the event.
