Us Weekly packed the hip Hollywood Spider Club for its Hot Young Hollywood party, an Emmy weekend bash planned by Bolthouse Productions and Wenner Media chief marketing officer Gary Armstrong. The party space was sleek, sexy—and very pink—and the house was packed with entertainment industry types younger than 30. Paris Hilton hosted the event, and celebrity wranglers at Fingerprint Communications enticed more Hollywood hotties to attend.
The Moroccan-inspired club, usually host to raucous rock 'n' roll shows, took on a more feminine look for the party. A pink neon sign lit up one wall, announcing "Hot Young Hollywood," and fuzzy pink pillows complemented pink cosmopolitans. And for the few guests who consume carbs, the club offered macaroni and cheese and mini pizzas. DJ AM inspired scantily clad dancers—who looked a bit like low-rent Paris Hiltons—to get more than a little naughty on the dance floor.
