After sitting through a gore-filled screening of Columbia TriStar's Silent Hill at the Egyptian Theatre, we heard one guest remark on seeing the decor in the after-party across the street, "Oh great—the last thing I need to see right now is more blood red and candles." TriStar's vice president of publicity, Danielle Misher, worked with Chris Benarroch of Benarroch Productions to set a dark scene for the party—all done in red lighting with white candles dripping wax—which took over the Montmartre Lounge. Typically a nightclub, the venue was renamed the "Grand Hotel" for the evening to evoke the name of a creepy location in the movie. But there was at least one touch that was decidedly more upbeat: tall blonde models from Eye5 dressed in tiny nurse costumes (to recall another scene in the film) greeted guests at the entrance and mingled with the crowd.
