One million flowers blanketed the walls of Christian Dior's July show during Paris Fashion Week. The Bureau Betak-event included a room covered with red roses.

Each flower was hand made and comprised of custom-printed stock, crepe paper, and tissue paper.

At the Zing vodka launch, the press wall took the form of a hedge with 2,000 roses spelling out the brand's name.

A total of 200,000 stems of red and white roses, shipped in from Colombia and Ecuador, decorated the event. A team of 150 staffers worked to prepare the floral decor.

Inside, the entrance was covered with orange flowers and decorated with letter decals to spell out the event's official name, PRE.

The celebrity arrivals area, which was situated on the other side of the check-in section, was marked by an enormous wall designed by Raul Avila with more than 20,000 red roses.

At this year's Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Oscar Governors Ball, vertical garden walls by Mark's Garden will provide a dramatic design element.

The several-thousand-pound greenery installation included 20 different types of ferns and mosses.

The staircase was flanked by oversize American and British flags made entirely of 150,000 red, white, and blue roses, designed to represent the punk movement's origins in New York and London. One hundred models dressed as punks later lined the steps, kitted out in ripped and torn regalia complete with spiked and dyed wigs by Redken creative consultant Guido. At the top of the staircase, past a series of sculptures underlit with rosy hues, pink-lit cherry-blossom trees, and pink fiberglass planters, was the receiving line, where the co-hosts received guests against a hedge wall of pink roses.

Luxe Event Rentals & Décor's handmade paper-flower walls, showcased at last year's BizBash New York Expo, can be customized in different colors and function as room dividers, stage backdrops, and back-bar displays.

Avila decorated the reception area with two walls of red, pink, and fuschia roses.

After much research, the event's organizers chose to create a striking topiary at the entrance to the garden, incorporating MoMa's logo alongside sponsor Cartier's into a simple backdrop for the arrivals area.

The step-and-repeat in the museum lobby featured the same oversize flowers used in the pop-up garden at the cocktail hour.
