After Tuesday night's blowout in Boston, the Lakers' season may now be officially over. But the team known for drawing celebrities and a generally savvy and monied crowd to the home court Staples Center didn't go out before a dramatic showing.

TLC Creative Productions designed pregame shows for home games using giant drop-down spandex screens that appeared suddenly in front of viewers in the form of 360-degree cylinder video projections. A multichannel video projected on the cylinder screens energized the crowds. TLC was also the first group to bring to the NBA a quickly movable laser beam system in the center of the court.

For championship home games, TLC created a banner reveal celebrating the Lakers' championship history; the banner dropped out of a center scoreboard. Lasers, pyrotechnics, and the Laker girls rounded out the effects at Staples.
