Artist C. Aisha Thompson operates These Handmade Memories, an invitation design company she started in January. Her work includes handmade menus, invites, save-the-dates, and other paper accessories. Thompson has 23 standard designs, which can be customized to suit color preferences, and consist of an invitation, R.S.V.P. card, and lined envelope starting at $5.75 per set with a minimum order of 25. You can also choose from five paper textures—with others available on request—in eight colors. She can also create special packaging, like a beach-theme invitation that comes with sand accents and shells. Fully customized, from-scratch designs can also be requested.
