While traditional paper greeting cards will always be in style, this holiday season brings a host of cool digital and interactive options as well.

New York-based Engaging Invites creates video invitations that combine old-school stationery with modern technology. Each card features a seven-inch HD video display and built-in speaker that begins playing once the invitation is opened. Video content can last as long as 15 minutes, and the rechargeable battery lasts for four to six hours. Larger and smaller screens are available upon request. Pricing starts at $65 per card for a minimum order of 25.

Examples of work include an invitation constructed with pieces of clear acrylic filled with wild moss and a letterpressed menu nestled in a custom leather envelope with a sprig of rosemary.
