Fuzion Adds Garden Seating

Fuzion Resto-Lounge & Garden opened its doors last fall to reveal an elegant space mixing sleek contemporary design with the converted Victorian home’s lofty ceilings, classic woodwork, and turn-of-the-century architecture. Recently, the proprietors swung open the garden gate, unveiling yet another facet of this charming eatery, once the private residence of department store czar Robert Simpson. The new seating space features contemporary brown faux wicker furniture, kiwi-coloured accents, Asian lanterns, lush greenery, a fish pond, and a waterfall. Fuzion’s executive chef is Patrick Wiese, who honed his skills in the Chicago restaurant scene and once worked alongside Art Smith at Harpo Studios as Oprah Winfrey’s personal chef. Wiese’s gourmet menu includes a $20 lobster trio with a martini, lobster meat, roasted garlic potato mash, citrus beurre blanc, and Avruga caviar, and a $24 surprise plate for two called the Chef’s Collection.
