
Instead of bright colors and plastic beads galore, the table was set with flowers in delicate shades of pink and purple, marbled-Italian-paper runners, and gilded rentals from Tablescapes.

The Boston institution hosted its opening night gala in late September. The decor was loosely inspired by the symphony's Shakespeare-related programming this season, and a dinner table was laid out in a way that mimicked the shape of an English garden.

This year's January 9 gala in Miami had less of a backyard-barbecue feel than previous iterations, with a look modeled on a French garden. Greenery, high hedges, silver tones, and amber lighting all added to the sophisticated, outdoorsy vibe. The event took place at the YoungArts Campus and Wow Factor handled decor. Starr Events also worked on the benefit.

Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater hosted its annual gala on May 9. Inspired by the setting of the then-current production The Way West, Event Creative's decor was inspired by a home in England, and the tabletop centerpieces were designed to look like window boxes.












The event had a black-and-white theme that included dominos and playing cards as table decor.
