The Roots drummer Questlove launched his catering company, Quest Loves Food (303.589.8962), in November. Based in New York and Philadelphia and available for off-premise catering nationwide, Quest has menu options that highlight Creole- and Korean-inspired soul food, including the musician’s signature origami-wrapped fried chicken drumsticks.

New Seating Chart App from Washington

D.C.-based seating chart app Social Tables (socialtables.com), which launched in beta in May, is issuing a re-design with new functionalities in early 2012. The tool creates cloud-based seating charts with social media integration so guests can interact with tablemates before and after events. Version 2.0 will include a floor-plan designer and collaboration features that let several planners work on documents simultaneously.

New Performance Art Facility in Orlando
