We stopped by Bar Marmont at the Chateau last week for the party feting Amy Sacco’s new book, Cocktails. While the likes of Nicky Hilton, Samantha Ronson, and Project Runway’s Santino Rice—all fresh from the Jane magazine party up the hill—sipped vodka cocktails from sponsor Imperia, the uber-hostess signed copies of the book. The New York-based HL Group handled PR.
Other guests came straight from an intimate dinner hosted by Chanel Beauté for its skin cream Sublimage, which was the first-ever event at the Sunset Tower Terrace space. (And the freebies guests picked up there, petite Chanel bags containing jars of the $350 skin cream, dotted the Bar Marmont tabletops.) The decor at the Chanel dinner was all white with hints of black and earth tones to suggest the brand’s packaging and skin creams, and event organizer Full Picture made sure the restrooms were stocked with Chanel products for a luxe touch.
