The Los Angeles Times Food Bowl Night Market took place May 16-20 at Grand Park. Outstanding in the Field—a culinary pop-up company that normally hosts dinners on farms—hosted the opening-night dinner party, which had a long table in the park’s Chinese Lantern Garden. The dinner offered Filipino fare from a trio of chefs from two local eateries: Charles Olalia of Ricebar and Chase and Chad Valencia of Lasa.
