More than one-third of the conference attendees were women, in part due to the organizer’s “Commitment to Change” initiative, which is providing 10,000 complimentary tickets this year for women to attend one of their tech conferences: Collision, Web Summit, Rise, or Surge. At Collision, an ad hoc group of female attendees gathered to discuss women in technology.
